Professional Compostion Tips - Patrick Wright


 

Compostion- the arrangement of objects and how they are placed in the frame of the photograph.


 

Show people in their natural environment, (don't pose)


 

Be aware of the sun and lighting


1. Shoot tight and keep empty space to a minimum, tight frame
2. Shoot sharp hold the camera still (use a tripod)
3. Use different angles... bend your knees, lay down, rise above
      - horizontal, vertical
4. Use different camera lenses
5. Be aware of light
6. The rule of Thirds
7. Always carry media cards
8.  Carry batteries
9.  Set your camera time/date
10.  Keep image resolution high
11.  Experiment with light settings
12.  Carry lens tissue
13.  Carry a notepad
14. Take more than one shot
